What is Customs Clearance?

Customs clearance is the service of conducting relations and transactions with the state in foreign trade activities carried out with a foreign country, during the transit of products or services through bonded areas.

Who Can Follow Customs Transactions?

Customs procedures; Direct representatives (company representatives) acting on behalf of and on behalf of someone else, and indirect representatives, ie customs consultants, who act on their own behalf but on behalf of someone else, can follow up and conclude. Customs brokers provide various services while performing customs clearance procedures.

Representatives are persons residing in the Customs Territory of Türkiye, with the exception of persons engaged in transit transportation or making an accidental declaration. Land, sea and airline companies and representatives of shipping companies can only follow up the transit transactions of the goods they transport through direct representation.
